Turn and face Him
2 Corinthians 3:16-18 (MSG)
‘Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are—face-to-face! They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone. And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete. We’re free of it! All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.’
Whatever you may be going through right now, try to centre your thoughts on Him. Whenever you turn your eyes to God and face Him, by directing your affection and attention on Him, He will remove the veil that separates you from Him.
The veil of religion and rules will be removed as the formulated attempts to get your way with God are replaced with genuine intimacy.
He will become even more real to you as you press into His presence that everything else around you will become like an illusion.
As you get wrapped up in Him, the troubles and hardships of this world will be swallowed up, becoming insignificant compared to the glory you behold.
The more you experience His presence, the more you will become like Him, radiating His glory and beauty to a world that is waiting for a glimpse of their Saviour.
