More than what you started with
Mark 6:38-44 (NIV)
‘How many loaves do you have?’ he asked. ‘Go and see.’ When they found out, they said, ‘Five – and two fish.’ Then Jesus told them to make all the people sit down in groups on the green grass. So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.
Did you hear that?! They had twelve basketfuls left over after everyone had eaten. They only started with five loaves and two fish!
Jesus not only provided for everyone’s needs but the excess was greater than they offered up to begin with. He is the All provider and the Multiplier.
That is exactly what He wants to do in your life. You will find yourself giving out and giving out and even after this, He will give back more than you began with. So following the distribution, there will be a greater amount than you gave in the first place.
Give out joy, and you will not be emptied of joy. No, not only will those around you have joy but the excess will be more than you gave.
It’s the same with peace, faith and finances. Keep giving it out and watch it come back to you multiplied.
