Time of rest

You won’t hear from me for a while as I make a couple trips over the next two weeks. It’s a time of rest and replenishing as well as fun family time with these two! This verse tells us how to enter into is rest… Hebrews 4:1‭-‬11 TPT Now God has offered to us the same promise of entering into his realm of resting in confident faith. So we must be extremely careful to ensure that we all embrace the fullness of that promise and not fail to experience it. For we have heard the good news of deliverance just as they did, yet they didn’t join their faith with the Word. Instead, what they heard didn’t affect them deeply, for they doubted. For those of us who believe, faith activates the promise and

Time for reset

While praying I felt the Lord saying this is a time of “reset”. He’s saying to His people…”I’m in the business of setting things right for you”. This is a time of resetting, balancing, making things right, correcting and settling things in their rightful place. You will notice things coming into alignment with His will for your life. Things that are no longer required will be removed as He brings order. Changes will occur particularly where you invest your time, money and giftings. While initially it may upset routine, your focus will become more direct and centered on what is important to God during this time. Don’t despise His “reset”, rather embrace it. He will then position you with fa

True worshippers

A few days ago in a worship session I felt the Lord saying to His people… “I’m calling forth my true worshippers, those who worship in spirit and in truth. Those who are not moved by the cares of the world but the cares of My heart. They are willing to obey at any cost. These are my true worshippers who will lead the way. They will bring heaven to earth!” Is this you? Does this resonate in the your Spirit? Rise up passionate worshipper. When life as you know it gets put on hold…

Have you ever experienced a season where for a matter of days, weeks, months or maybe even years, your life suddenly felt like it was on hold? This happened to me a few months back with my husband’s collision with a car whilst riding his bike. Things that seemed important were no longer priority and an eternal perspective was heightened. For many of you, your experience may have lingered for a lot longer than I encountered (while nursing Justin back to full health again), but whatever the case, it’s important to look at these events from God’s perspective. I love that God gave us the book of Job to relate to when going through hardships, grief and disappointment. Job encountered the highes

He is faithful!

1 Thessalonians 5:24 (NIVUK) The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it. What has He promised you? What has He revealed He will do for you and those that you are praying for? HE IS FAITHFUL to heal, to save, to set free, to comfort, to deliver, to restore and to set right whatever area needs His divine intervention in your life. It’s His nature. His heart is LOVE! You can be confident and rest assured that He not only desires to, but He WILL do it! For you! ‘he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.’ Philippians 1:6b (NIVUK) #Heisfaithful #Complete #Love #Hiddenmanna #devotionals #Faithful #Scripture #blog #1thessalonians5 #Bible

Your own ‘tent of meeting’: more than a spectator

Moses went right into the ‘tent of meeting’ and met with God face to face like a friend (v11) but the people only stood at the entrances of their tents and spectated. Read Exodus 33:7-11 Moses had a revelation of the necessity to regularly meet with God and hear from Him so he set up his own special place to go to meet with God that was away from the chaos and people in the camp. It probably wasn’t convenient or easy for Moses, but this sacrifice shows his dedication and desire for the presence of God. Joshua was totally addicted to ‘the tent’… Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young assistant Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.(Exodus 33:‬11 NIVUK) Ha ha! He couldn’t leav

Following God and not man

Read Galations 1 Paul makes it so clear that he is not sent from man (v1), is not following man, nor does he attempt to please man in any way (v10). On the contrary Paul says ‘If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of God. (Gal 1:10b) We need to make sure we don’t follow after particular speakers, preachers, healers, evangelists, apostles or leaders of any kind by putting them on a pedestal and glorifying them. Paul explains that his revelation of Jesus came directly from Jesus Christ himself (v12). Direct revelation is the best! God wants to reveal so much to us and the best way to get the most accurate, relevant and spirit-filled revelation is directly from God
